Economic ministry to cut ruble rate forecast against US dollar

MOSCOW, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- The Economic Development Ministry will cut the forecast for an average annual ruble rate against the U.S. dollar in 2023, Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said on Thursday.

"We will adjust it, of course (to reflect ruble weakening) taking into account adjustment of the oil production and oil price forecasts, we will certainly revise it," Reshetnikov said.

In September, the ministry expected the ruble at 68.3 against the dollar in 2023.
